FTPR Lions Academy exists to develop young football talent through structured training. We aim to create a football environment where young players grow not only in skill and performance, but also in integrity, leadership, and life values—becoming role models in their communities and ambassadors of positive change through sport.

FTPR Lions Academy was founded in 2014 by Mbabazi Alain, inspired by Dr. Myles Munroe’s sermon, “Discovering Your Life Purpose.” Mbabazi Alain has played football since childhood; the sport has always been both his passion and talent. He played for various clubs in the second division, as well as in the first-division U17 teams at Rayon Sports. From 2013, after dedicating his life to Jesus and discovering his life purpose, he pursued coaching studies at Leipzig University in Germany, where he obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Football Coaching and the DFB A Licence. He continued advancing his coaching education and currently holds the CAF A Licence. Today, FTPR Lions serves more than 250 players, transforming lives and striving to make a positive impact on the younger generation. It is a place that nurtures the talent and passion of many children, while also transmitting Christian values through our lifestyle.

Through quality coaching, mentorship, and competitive opportunities, we strive to help our athletes reach their full potential while maintaining strong values and respect for others. Our vision is to produce skilled footballers who not only excel in the sport but also become responsible citizens who positively impact their communities. We believe that success is measured not only by trophies and victories but also by the character, integrity, and life skills developed throughout the journey.
