Read full story →The 2nd Edition of the FTPR Lions Summer Championship Cup was successfully held on 15th July 2026 at Pele Stadium, bringing together young football talents for a memorable day of competition, learning, and sportsmanship. The tournament was proudly sponsored by Sportsland and Safe Gas, whose valuable support contributed greatly to the success of the event. A total of 8 football academies competed across five age categories, providing exciting matches and an excellent platform for youth player development. Tournament Champions: U7: Gikondo Academy U9: FTPR Lions Academy U11: Gikondo Academy U14 Intermediate: Debes Academy U14 A: Gikondo Academy U16: New Harvest Academy The championship celebrated not only competition but also teamwork, discipline, respect, and the continued growth of grassroots football.
